In 1992, I was diagnosed with a herniated disc at L5 S1, in my back. I was referred to a specialist, who dealt with this type of medical problem, and was offered pain medication, physical therapy, and some alternative therapies being offered at the Institute. That same year, I found out I had full blown Osteoporosis, coupled with Degenerative Disc Disease.
