Back Pain Identification Injections:
A procedure used to identify if the sacroiliac joint is the source of a patients pain. Local anesthetic and a steroid medication are injected into the sacroiliac joint. Due to the numbing medicine used during this procedure, the patient may experience temporary pain relief afterwards, which is an indicator of the source of pain.
