Complex Pain and Wellness has helped a variety of patients manage their pain, achieve overall wellness, and even become a professional bodybuilder! Yolanda Anthony, a current IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) Pro Figure Competitor, owes her success and pain relief/management to Dr. Atlin’s care, knowledge, and expertise.
In 1989, Yolanda Anthony was injured during her printing job and developed CRPS, nervous damage formerly known as RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome). Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is a rare disorder of the sympathetic nervous system, characterized by severe pain. In fact, CRPS is ranked as the most painful form of chronic pain that exists today.
Yolanda was in so much pain that she couldn’t imagine getting her life back, let alone step foot in a gym again. In 2005, Dr. Atlin implanted a spinal cord stimulator in her abdomen, and prescribed her with the appropriate pain medication for RSD. About 5 years later, with guidance from Dr. Atlin and friends, Yolanda is now in the best shape of her life. As a result, she started competing in Figure and even turned pro last year!
“Due to Dr. Atlin’s help and prayer, I am doing so well. Even though stress and cold weather bother me, I will always be thankful for all that Dr. Atlin has done for me.”
